Our Story
We built Omni Forest from lived experience, not a business plan.
Weโre Nelson & Team, and before Omni Forest existed, we were just a family on the move. We relocated across countries during our teenage years, then across the U.S. for schools, jobs, and new chapters. Every move came with the same stress: finding a safe home in a new city, getting settled fast, and making sure our loved ones were taken care of.
Boston became home after one of those moves. We remember the late-night apartment searches, the pressure of starting a new role, and the feeling of being pulled in every direction at once. For international students and newcomers, the culture shift adds another layer, different systems, different neighborhoods, and a lot of unknowns. For locals, it is still the same crunch of timing, trust, and cost. We have lived both.
As our family grew, so did the logistics, especially when our furry kids became part of the equation. Planning a trip meant juggling flights, hotels, and itineraries while also trying to find a trustworthy pet sitter or house sitter. We went through the scramble of last-minute cancellations, unclear pricing, and not knowing who to trust with our home or pets. It was exhausting.
That experience is why Omni Forest exists, to make the move, the trip, and the everyday life transitions feel easier and more human. Omni Forest is our way of giving people what we wished we had, one place that helps you find a home, plan travel with confidence, and care for the pets who are family. Even if you are outside Boston, we can still help you book flights and hotels around the world. We are here to walk with you through the messy parts, so you can focus on building a life you are excited about in Boston and beyond.
